I accord with our previous discussion about the interest and desire to enlarge to the board, and Marylee’s communication with interested parties, I’d like to make a motion that we accept Barb Tyndall as a board member. Please respond here if you all support that motion.

Marylee,
All of the additional possible support and participation sounds fantastic. I do wonder however, in light of this, if it is not prudent to postpone the board roles training until the board expansion is a bit more solidified? I presume your are wanting to stay on track with our scheduled meeting, and it is obviously a last minute change for content of the meeting. Your thoughts? And, I’m not familiar with the names that Monty provided.
Patrick, I am not always getting notices of comments. Apologize, I did not see this until tonight, after the meeting, when I logged directly onto the blog site.
Both Monty and Sandy Ford are making themselves available to support us and join us in any capacity that would be of help to us. I did invite them to the board, or to share a seat, or to just come. . . . whatever makes sense to them. They both plan on attending the meeting this Tuesday at DOH cafe, however, due to their work schedules, they will come after 5:00 p.m. Also, Monty provided 4 more names of people that he would be willing to speak to that have interests in our mission. Does anyone know Mike & Diane Hoffer, Pete Braveman, or Janice Lorenzen? Monty asked me to put together a small flyer so that he could share with others – knowledgeably.
Barry, spoke with Pastor Hornbuckle and Bernard Gatewood & provided me with their contacts. I sent them an updated status on what was happening with us, at their request.
Please also remember that Shayle Hutchison said that she would be interested in joining us in May. Sarah Finnell would like to remain a resource for us.
I second that motion.
Motion passes with 2 of 3 board members responding. However, it should be noted that the 3rd person recommended Barb so their vote could be implied. Either way, WELCOME BARB.
