Drake Street House tax exemption filed. Penalties and interest paid, but now we are current.
Alnise to visit the Assessor and make sure things are apportioned appropriately

Planning Meeting for Core Values, Strategic Plan, and Business Plan – will pick a weekend in May
Discussing properties with Assessor, tax exemptions – Alnise to follow up on
Treasurer’s position – discussed, this position needs to be filled
Short term goals and ED Directives for 2021 – tabled until we can discuss this with Alnise
ED Evaluation process (discuss, approve, launch!) – Jim submitted a proposal to the board with Kendi’s comments. Kendi and Jim to take care of this.
Thank you calls to donors (need the list) – Joyce to follow up with Alnise for list, or see if Patrick can pull a list from the back end of the website.
New Business
Board review IRS 990 filing – the board needs to review this and approve for filing. Perhaps next meeting.
Transfer of Shelter from CoF to FYA – this is a process the board needs to pursue.
OneHomeless Night – late May, either May 21st or May 28th. Jim to check with Alnise.
Community & Donor appreciation BBQ/open house – date set for June 12, 2021 2 pm – Dave and Laurie to head up, and any board members willing to contribute.
Committee Report
Fundraising Committee – Zumba fundraiser outdoors, maybe in July? Idea for 3 Mayor Zumba challenge as a part of the fundraiser.
Sunshine Committee – One thing a month with the staff – Kendi gave fruit strips with a witty note.
