September 2019 Financial Summary
FYA: As of the end of September 2019, FYA currently has $97,284.71 of operating funds in checking, $25,085 in savings, and $17,839 in the DSB checking account for automatic mortgage payments. Compared to 2018 totals the overall cash position has increased from $87,713 to $142,365, an increase of 62%.
The Alaska Community Foundation account has a fund balance of $390,593.
FYA also has $18,901 of unreimbursed BHAP and ESG expenses for September that have not yet been submitted as the grant approval process continues to work its way through the state government.
All required tax filings have been completed for the 3rdQuarter of 2019.
Drake Street: The normal monthly mortgage payment of $1,838.32 was paid on September 15. Net proceeds were paid out of $2,525 by Somers & Associates, however, approximately $2,500 needs to be refunded to the tenants, as well as deposits that need to be refunded. Maintenance was minimal for September – repair of the garage door opener for $244.00.
Clearwater Counseling: At the end of September 2019, Clearwater Counseling reports the following: Checking account balance: $53,851. Counseling revenue for September (reported by KLG) was $19,990. A net loss of $258 was recorded for September.
Overall, both FYA and Clearwater Counseling have healthy financial positions, and both continue to see growth in contributions and new clients, respectively.
