This is an example of something I might say,

“Hi Mr. Brown, this is Marylee Bates from Fairbanks Youth Advocates. I just wanted to call and say thank you for your recent donation to The Door. We really appreciate your support in helping to keep kids safe and sheltered.”   or

Hi Mr. Brown, this is Marylee Bates from Fairbanks Youth Advocates. Thank you for your recent financial gift to The Door. Your donation keeps kids safe and off the streets. We couldn’t do this without you.
