Just a quick update. The house was looked over by an engineer. We got the report and made a request of repairs to seller of which we have come to an agreement on with the seller. (Thanks to Dave’s help)
Sarah and I met last Friday and created the resolution, based on your input (thank you). The bank now has it. (Thank you Sarah)
I gave the AK Community Foundation a heads up and it is a good thing as we need to submit a formal request – then their board votes on it and beings that they only meet 1x a month – it has to make that meeting.
Just a refresher course….we have 4 accounts with the AKCF. Shelter Our Kids Now, Keep Our Doors Open, then Fran Clare with 100k was specifically given to us to ‘purchase property on 8th’, then finally the Don Yochem account that has $100k in it. Based on what I know of the accounts, I just wanted to tell you that I am setting up a withdraw of the Don Yochem account. A resolution nor vote is not necessary, I just wanted you to know how we are proceeding.
I’ve heard through the grape vine that closing is scheduled for the 15th. Here we go!
