Once again: What are the 6 short term goals for FYA in 2014? (see website)
Unfinished Business
ED Evaluation Status (must be completed prior to April 21st according to our contract with licensing). This will require an additional committee meeting to finalize the ED Evaluation and then a follow up executive session teleconference with the board prior to our May monthly meeting.
FYA Vehicle: short term and long term needs, vehicle repairs, maintenance. Vehicle should be inspected by a mechanic before we employ its use for transporting youth. Does anyone know a mechanic that may donate their time and resources for this?
FYA office building renovations and future needs: Discuss what is the long term future of the building. What are the immediate renovation needs. How much should be spent on fixing it?
parking –
building upgrades (windows, siding, roof)
Application for FNRP program (due date: April 15th). Marylee made me aware of a program available through the Cold Climate Housing Research Center that could possibly help us with energy upgrades for the Pink House. With her approval, I submitted a letter of intent to apply. I will work with Marylee on the actual application and we will keep you informed as to progress. This program will require an energy audit (paid for by CCHRC) and then decisions later on about making the upgrades (which would also be paid for). This note is just to let you know that we are working on the application process. -Dave Miller
From the ED: Marylee
Follow up with Mark Harris from last month’s board meeting.
