We are surrounded by little acts of love at Fairbanks Youth Advocates; a bag of snack foods, a few hours each weekend, a five-dollar gift card and a message of love. Little acts of love that support us and keep us going.

1) Leave a Message for our Youth
Leave a message of encouragement, support, and positivity for our youth – and we’ll make sure they receive it.
2) Connect your Fred Meyers card
to Fairbanks Youth Advocates
You can help Fairbanks Youth Advocates earn donations… Just by shopping with your Fred Meyer Rewards Card! This quarter we received nearly $700 because of 25 households who designated FYA as their charity!
Fred Meyer is donating $2.5 million per year to non-profits in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington, based on where their customers tell them to give. Here’s how the program works:
• Sign up for the Community Rewards program by linking your Fred Meyer Rewards Card to Fairbanks Youth Advocates at www.fredmeyer.com/
• Then, every time you shop and use your Rewards Card, you are helping FYA earn a donation!
• You still earn your Rewards Points, Fuel Points, and Rebates, just as you do today.
• Fred Meyers is not asking YOU to give anything. The donations will come from Fred Meyer! YOU are letting Fred Meyer know that you want their funds to come to us at Fairbanks Youth Advocates.

3) Volunteer
It takes large hearts to operate this shelter around the clock. We are blessed by having a corps of 30 outstanding people who serve as shelter volunteers to help keep this place running. Submit an application to volunteer with FYA!

We’re grateful for your gift, be it five dollars or five thousand dollars, a one-time gift or a recurring one – we know that your gift comes from your heart, and we’ll make sure your gift goes to keeping our safe place, The Door, open and available 24/7 for youth.
