  3. Meeting Minutes \u2013\u00a0Approve past five meeting minutes. (MSP Dave, Kendi<\/strong> ) Passed unanimously.

        2. Accept resignation of Paul\u00a0Alanson (MSP Kendi, Joyce)<\/strong>. Passed unanimously.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
        3. Financial Report
          1. Donor update<\/li>

          3. Budget update – Rodney and Marylee are working on this.<\/li>
          4. Insurance Update \u2013 Marylee and Rodney are working on the insurance claims. Dave suggests we withdraw the claim from the leak in the shelter.<\/li>
          5. Wilson & Wilson Letter\u00a0to FYA board\u00a0(from January 2021) \u2013 Rene sent a twenty page letter to Jim. He read the cover letter. There was a communication sent to the board in January 22, 2021. Jim read this to the board.<\/li>
          6. Accounting Update \u2013 Cash flow problem is being resolved, BHAP Grant wasn\u2019t drawn upon and we can access those funds. There is also another grant for utilities.
            1. Discussion on cash \/ credit card procedures, tabled.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
            2. Fundraising- general plan through\u00a0Fall\u00a02021 \u2013 tabled, perhaps a Zumba fundraiser in August.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
            3. ED Report
              1. Status of Properties \u2013
                1. Red House,\u00a0future plans – Red house has been painted and carpeted. We are going to see about connecting the phone lines from the other buildings to the Red House. Red House will be YHDP, Jocelyn, and board.\u00a0 Rodney had a suggestion of a locked box at the Red House for mail for the board.<\/li>
                2. The Door, facility update – The shelter has a punch list for some repairs\/maintenance. Rodney has been working with some maintenance workers to have a go-to repair person. Dave states we need someone with a background check and Rodney said he spoke to the contractor about it.<\/li>
                3. Drake Street House, sale update \u2013 house is under contract. House is likely to close in June towards the end of the month. Paid $344,900 and this sold at $410,000.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
                4. \u00a0Staffing Update \u2013 advertised for a night position today. Rodney and Marylee are going to look at the staffing files and clean up HR files. Rodney has been trying to see\/meet staff needs. Staff expressed disconnect from the board.<\/li>
                5. Shelter\u00a0Operations\u00a0Update \u2013 kids are being taken care of.<\/li>
                6. Grant Performance\/Compliance Update- See financial report.<\/li>
                7. Clearwater\u00a0Operations\u00a0Update \u2013 staffing update given by Marylee. Previous concerns addressed.<\/li>
                8. Newsletter Update \u2013 Going out tomorrow morning. Sign up via the website.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
                9. Unfinished Business
                  1. \u00a0(Action)\u00a0Treasurer\u2019s position – discussed, and tabled.<\/li>
                  2. \u00a0(Action)\u00a0IRS 990 filing for 2020C. This will need to be signed off on. Suggesting a full audit next year.<\/li>
                  3. \u00a0(Action)\u00a0Transfer of shelter from\u00a0CoF\u00a0to FYAD.\u00a0This is on Rodney and Marylee\u2019s radar.<\/li>
                  4. Community & Donor Appreciation Block Party \u2013 June 12 2-4pm \u2013 Dave on the head of the committee and Jim is helping. Requesting the Vista help with logistics.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
                  5. New Business
                    1. (Action)\u00a0Board Resolution \u2013\u00a0FY2021-22\u00a0 Motion to approve the resolution (MSP Kendi, Joyce).<\/strong> Passed unanimously.<\/li>
                    2. (Discussion) BHAP\/ESG\u00a0Grant\u00a0\u00a0– $100,000+ from last year withdrawn, Rodney and Marylee working on applying for next year.<\/li>
                    3. (Discussion) YHDP Project\u00a0\u2013 Mike Sanders at the city provided documents and Marylee read them. Dave expresses concerns about running more programs. Marylee and Rodney said that we have not yet signed the grant agreement yet. Madison (spelling?) has some work on the program, but we can use her work in other ways in the community. We will receive more information and vote on the board blog. EDs to provide the information, Jim to notify the board when this is ready.<\/li>
                    4. (Executive Session)\u00a0Board to\u00a0discussion and potentially act on recent\u00a0financial\u00a0findings.
