  1. Meeting called to order at 5:34pm. Convened via Zoom video conference and Clearwater. Attendees: Kendi Adams, Dave Miller, Jim Williams, Joyce Weis. A quorum was present. Absent: Paul Alanson, Alnise Wyles.<\/li>
  2. Kendi opened in prayer.<\/li>
  3. Approve February\u00a017,\u00a02021\u00a0Regular\u00a0Board Meeting Minutes \u2013 MSP (Dave, Jim)<\/strong>. Passed unanimously.<\/li>
  4. Signature Items \u2013 there were no items to sign at the meeting.<\/li>
  5. Potential board members
    1. Brad \u2013 Jim has received reply, needs to read.<\/li>
    2. Meryem and Ben \u2013 can\u2019t right now.<\/li>
    3. Jim to advertise for board members in paper or via the Newsletter.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
    4. Financial Report \u2013 awaiting written report from Alnise, who was absent due to illness

      2. Balance sheets and Income Statement<\/li>
      3. Budget update<\/li>
      4. Fundraising- general plan through Summer 2021<\/li><\/ol><\/li>

        7. Drake Street House tax exemption filed. Penalties and interest paid, but now we are current.<\/li>
        8. Alnise to visit the Assessor and make sure things are apportioned appropriately<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
        9. Unfinished Business
          1. Planning Meeting for Core Values, Strategic Plan, and Business Plan \u2013 will pick a weekend in May<\/li>
          2. Discussing properties with Assessor, tax exemptions \u2013 Alnise to follow up on<\/li>
          3. Treasurer\u2019s position \u2013 discussed, this position needs to be filled<\/li>
          4. Short term goals and ED Directives for 2021 \u2013 tabled until we can discuss this with Alnise<\/li>
          5. ED Evaluation process\u00a0(discuss,\u00a0approve, launch!) \u2013 Jim submitted a proposal to the board with Kendi\u2019s comments. Kendi and Jim to take care of this. \u00a0<\/li>
          6. Thank you calls to donors\u00a0(need the list) \u2013 Joyce to follow up with Alnise for list, or see if Patrick can pull a list from the back end of the website.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
          7. New Business
            1. \u00a0Board review IRS 990 filing \u2013 the board needs to review this and approve for filing. Perhaps next meeting. \u00a0<\/li>
            2. Transfer of Shelter from CoF to FYA – this is a process the board needs to pursue.<\/li>
            3. \u00a0OneHomeless Night \u2013 late May, either May 21st<\/sup> or May 28th<\/sup>. Jim to check with Alnise.<\/li>
            4. Community & Donor appreciation BBQ\/open house\u00a0\u2013 date set for June\u00a012,\u00a02021 2 pm \u2013 Dave and Laurie to head up, and any board members willing to contribute.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
            5. Committee Report
              1. Fundraising Committee \u2013 Zumba fundraiser outdoors, maybe in July? Idea for 3 Mayor Zumba challenge as a part of the fundraiser.<\/li>
              2. Sunshine\u00a0Committee \u2013 One thing a month with the staff \u2013 Kendi gave fruit strips with a witty note.<\/li>
