Just to follow up from our meeting last night…<\/p>\n
I met with Dean Gufstason today. We should invite him to a board meeting. I think he would fit our board easily. <\/p>\n
I spoke with Corinne (our realtor) this morning. She is in Arizona with her daughter who is going through chemo, say a prayer for them. Corinne will start to work on our requests within a few days and seems to completely understand what we are trying to do. I expect to have good information in time for the next board meeting.<\/p>\n
I put a call in to Lloyd (currently overseas) about moving the white house this Spring, I expect to hear from him before our next meeting, we probably won’t have any definitive information before March or April.<\/p>\n
I was really energized by the openness and unity of our board meeting last night. As I shared my enthusiasm for having new board members with substance in the community, I hope that I did not come across in a way that would in any way lessen the significance of each of you as board members. I know that each person that is with us is essential to our mission and I appreciate each and every one. Board development can be a challenging part of what we do, but it is important as we move forward.<\/p>\n
