Here is an update on our shelter project.<\/p>\n
The City received two bids. \u00a0Both were over our budget. \u00a0The low bidder seems to
\nhave the superior product and all involved with the scoring process gave them
\nthe highest score for all considerations. \u00a0We are facing a crossroads in that we
\nneed to raise additional funds or material donations, in order to make the
\nproject happen. \u00a0Marylee can share details at the board meeting. \u00a0The upside to
\nall this is that the new building will be over the top as far as quality,
\ndurability, design and usefulness to our mission. \u00a0I guess the other upside is
\nthat we really need to ask God again for His help to achieve our goals. \u00a0I’m not
\nsure how much of this info is public yet, so please keep it confidential for
\nright now…<\/p>\n

I spoke with Patrick Smith, today. He would like us to have some solid ideas to propose for additional funding suggestions prior to this Friday’s meeting with firm who “won” the bid.
