A Place to Belong
In Fairbanks, the challenges our youth are facing are becoming increasingly urgent. Our staff have observed a troubling rise in the number of young individuals aged 18-24 who are either experiencing homelessness or are on the brink of it. Homelessness among young adults is a complex issue influenced by various factors. Many have faced significant hardships, family instability, mental health challenges, and limited access to education and employment opportunities. As a result, they often find themselves in precarious living situations, struggling to make ends meet. Evolve is a program designed to address the gap among 18-24 year-olds in Fairbanks. Our mission is to provide transitional support that empowers them to achieve stability and independence.
